Organic Compliant Antifoams
We manufacture a specific line of antifoams for use in organic food processing. The Magrabar Organic 3000 Series of products are registered with the Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) and appear on the WSDA Brand Name Materials List. This list is utilized by a wide range of organic food certification agencies to determine the acceptability of processing aids for use in organic food processing.
Our National Organic Program (NOP) compliant antifoams are useful for air release in jams and preserves, and very effective in controlling foam and improving productivity in:
Magrabar products improve the throughput of organic processes where foaming is a problem. Process vessels can be filled higher, pumping is more efficient, and messy and costly overflowing vessels and containers are avoided.
The ingredients of these antifoams also appear on EPA List 4 – Inerts of Minimal Concern. Materials appearing on this list are allowed as antifoam adjuvants (inert ingredients) for use in pesticides for organic crop and livestock production under the NOP. Product emulsifiability varies across the series.
Magrabar's organic compliant antifoams are allergen free, free of any animal derived products, GMO free, and certified Kosher and Halal.
